I’m excited to show new work at the Peekskill coffee house for the month of July and at Two Way Brewery in Beacon during Beacon Open Studios & Upstate Art weekend (the show will be up for Aug too!)

You can also order prints of my work on my Etsy page (please note many works are not listed on Etsy but I can make a custom order if you see a piece in my show/on my site that you would like a print of, just email me!)

I’m SO excited to start a small Art/Play group with my daughter and do some of the fun activities I did back when I taught Art Tots at Garrison Art Center! Below are some things we do in our basement studio space that I hope to do with our group this summer, let me know what you think!

I’m proud to share works by HS art students and amazed by the breadth of skill and creativity our students have shown, I’m so grateful we could feature some of our most talented students during our most recent board of ed meeting!

HS students took a field trip to the Katonah Museum of Art’s current exhibit by the Has Brothers titled “Constant Carnival” full of funky sculpted creatures and Surreal works by artists we recognized such as Salvador Dali and Matisse. We had fun playing the Exquisite Corpse game in the studio space and sharing our creations at the end of the trip.

We celebrated Youth Art Month this March with a bulletin board featuring student’s favorite works of art and many entrees received recognition from the National Women’s Club organization at the regional Hudson Valley level, so proud of our students!

Students in Graphic Design and AP art worked on digital choice pieces as well as partner collaborations by sharing their portfolio work with a partner and then sketching ideas for their partner which then served to inspire the artist to create new work.

NAHS met to create personalized stickers to sell and raise money for our Memory Project portraits (a world-wide organization that we work with to create portraits for children in poverty as a childhood keepsake..photos to come!)
